Things You’ll Need

  • 12 large kiwifruits

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 1/4 cup full-fat coconut milk or cream

  • Zest and juice from a small lime

Step 1: Cut the Kiwifruits

Peel the skins from the kiwifruits, then roughly chop them up into cubes.

Chop the kiwifruits.

Step 2: Blend

Place the kiwifruits, sugar, coconut milk or cream, lime zest and juice in the bowl of a food processor or blender.

Add the ingredients into the bowl of a food processor.

Blend to form a very smooth puree, about a minute.

Blend until smooth.

Step 3: Freeze

Pour the mixture into a small metal loaf or cake pan and smooth into an even layer.

Pour into a small pan and cover with plastic.

Cover with a layer of plastic wrap and freeze until firm but still a little soft for scooping, about 2 hours.

Step 4: Serve

Use a just warm ice cream scoop or large-size spoon to scoop the sorbet from the pan and into serving bowls. Serve immediately.
